Work opportunities ranging from marker tape supply and soil testing to pipeline welding and plant hire are open on the Northern Gas Pipeline project.
McConnell Dowell has been engaged by Jemena to construct the pipeline, which will connect gasfields in the Northern Territory with customers in the Eastern Gas Market, and run between Tennant Creek in the NT and Mount Isa in Queensland.
Construction is due to commence in eraly 2017.

Northern Gas Pipeline developer Jemena also plans to procure a range of packages via Tenderlink rather than ICN Gateway.
These include nitrogen removal equipment, compressors (including enclosure and structural steel), and aftercoolers.
Services including third party inspection of coated linepipe, compressor and overseas equipment will also be procured via Tenderlink as well as the software document management system.
