Blast-off at Agate Creek

Mining has started at Laneway Resources’ Agate Creek gold project, where the first ore blast took place yesterday afternoon.

Ore is being mined and stockpiled at the site, about 40km south of Forsayth and 60km west of Kidston in North Queensland.

It is expected to be transported to Maroon Gold’s Blackjack processing plant at Charters Towers from this weekend.

Maroon Gold has been appointed operator of the site and will allow toll treatment of high-grade ore through its plant.
