Contractor UGL has secured a multi-year extension of its maintenance, service and shutdown services contract for GLNG’s Curtis Island facility.
It was among $180 million in new contracts and extensions the CIMIC Group company announced today.
They also included work at Viva Energy’s Geelong refinery, offshore platform work for Esso Australia, and a multi-year contract with BP Kwinana.
UGL said it had also secured a new contract in Queensland for brownfields projects and operational services in the oil and gas sector.
“UGL has a strong reputation for maintenance and shutdown services, particularly in the Australian oil and gas sector,” CIMIC Group chief executive officer Juan Santamaria said.
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to continue developing strong partnerships with our clients, including our ongoing commitment to Viva Energy.”
