Submissions open for business awards recognition

The Resource Industry Network Chairman’s Awards will recognise resilience as well as excellence this year.

The awards program also offered an opportunity to recognise the significant contribution that those businesses made to regional economies and communities said Resource Industry Network Chairman, Tony Caruso.

“… Our local sector has shown enormous resilience over the past 12 months. Our region in particular is at the forefront of innovation in the services sector and there is much to celebrate,” said Mr Caruso.

“The awards are also an opportunity for businesses and individuals to stand out as role models and leaders in the industry.”

PIC: Resource Industry Network chairman Tony Caruso.

“I encourage all businesses to consider nominating for their business, for a key supplier’s business, or for any business which demonstrates the attributes which continue to make the Mackay region the outstanding contributor that it is.”

Nominations close 5pm, Friday April 7th.
