Recycling quandary

The Victorian Government has stumped up $13 million to help councils manage growing stockpiles of recycling.

The majority of recycling was being exported to China which has stopped taking consignments from Australia due poor quality control among other issues.

Queensland Local Government Minister Stirling Hinchliffe’s office said it wasn’t their responsibility and we were referred to the Environment Minister Leeanne Enoch.
