Production tests have resumed at the Reid’s Dome gas project in Central Queensland’s Bowen Basin.
State Gas said the testing had recommenced at both the Nyanda-4 and the Serocold-1 wells.
It is appraising the potential for a significant coal seam gas project and and production tests at those wells had encouraging results in late 2019 and early 2020.
State Gas said those tests had been interrupted by pump issues in both wells, but it had since arranged for the manufacture in Canada of customised replacement pumps.
The pumps arrived in Australia this month and have been installed at the wells.
