Plans for Queensland’s biggest dam The Bradfield Scheme first floated in 1938 is again on the table.

The Bradfield Scheme is back on the agenda. The first plan was drafted by Queensland engineer John Bradfield in 1938 with the aim to capture water from north Queensland rivers and irrigate areas west of the Great Dividing Range. It’s now being trumpeted by the LNP. They describe it as ‘Queensland’s biggest-ever drought-busting infrastructure project…
