This notice is to advise that the Queensland Government, acting through the Department of Education and Training (DET), intends to commence a market sounding for the purpose of identifying options to reduce energy costs for Queensland State Schools through solar and energy efficiency measures.

Purpose

The purpose of the market sounding is to obtain feedback and gauge the level of market interest in participating in the project.

Note: This is not a tendering process and participation in the market sounding will not affect future considerations by DET, should a procurement process be undertaken.

Market participants are invited to register their interest in the market sounding process via the QTenders portal by sending details to  SEMSS.marketsounding@det.qld.gov.auby 5:00pm Friday, 12 May 2017 (Qld. Eastern Standard Time).
