METS Ignited and the Queensland Government have launched a new accelerator program aimed at innovative businesses.
Entries close January 31 for the program, run one day per week for 12 weeks in Brisbane from March to May 2019.
It is specifically designed for established METS companies that develop and commercialise innovative new products and services for the mining, energy and resources sector.
The program helps businesses overcome the key challenges in the successful market growth for their product or service. It finishes with a pitching session to prospective customers and/or investors and the chance to showcase capabilities at two major mining conferences planned for mid-2019 in Brisbane.
The program builds on the 2017 Igniting METS accelerator pilot run by KPMG. This is an initiative of METS Ignited and the Queensland Government.
In 2017 five of the eight participants in the Igniting METS Accelerator came from regional Queensland.
The program is free and reasonable accommodation and travel costs for regional participants will be covered.
