Mine procurement forum for Gladstone industry Australian Bauxite's Binjour project, 115km south-west of Bundaberg, will be covered in this month's forum.

Suppliers will have the chance to explore procurement opportunities with Australian Bauxite and Evolution Mining at a forum in Gladstone this month.

Resource Industry Media is hosting the Connecting Industry event on February 25.

Australian Bauxite is advancing its Binjour project, 115km south-west of Bundaberg, after its board of directors gave the green light to proceed in December last year.

Chief executive officer Ian Levy will discuss the project’s scope and timelines including potential procurement opportunities for the region.

Evolution Mining owns and operates five mining operations including Mount Carlton, 150km south of Townsville, Mount Rawdon, 75km south-west of Bundaberg, and the Cracow mine, 273km south-west of Gladstone.

Cracow general manager Jason Floyd will be presenting at the RIM Connecting Industry event on where he will discuss the company’s projects including future operations, scope and timelines as well as potential procurement opportunities for the region.
