Major works are expected to begin in March as the $1.6 billion Toowoomba Second Range Crossing project ramps up.
Preliminary construction activities are under way this month including survey work, geotechnical investigations and potholing on local roads and footpaths to identify existing public utility services, according to Nexus Infrastructure.
The Nexus Infrastructure consortium holds the contract to finance, build, operate and maintain the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing in a 25-year public-private partnership.
Expressions of interest are open now for services and supplies including bulk earthworks, plumbing and electrical maintenance, waste management, security, water bore drilling, water tank supply, cleaning and radio communications.
