Business and industry leaders are being urged to register for the Capricorn Enterprise Major Projects Forum in Rockhampton this month for insight into billions of dollars worth of upcoming work.
“With over $3.6 billion in projects planned and underway over the next decade, our local business and industry need to hear directly from the industry professionals in order to tap into upcoming work projects,” regional economic development manager Neil Lethlean said.
The forum, on October 25 at Korte’s Resort, will see project directors and managers for many of the major projects sharing their knowledge of what is happening with their projects and when works are going ahead.
They include Lucas Dow from Adani Mining, key Defence and lead contractor representatives, and David Brown from Goldwind Australia (Clarke Creek wind project).
The event will include a keynote presentation by Toowoomba Regional Council Mayor Paul Antonio about securing regional investment and the importance of government/ndustry co-operation and collaboration.
“The full program promises to deliver the latest details on regional projects directly from those managing the projects, panel sessions for in-depth discussion, questioning and networking with industry,” Mr Lethlean said.
Registrations close this Friday, October 11. More details HERE
