Hammer Metals expects to start a sub-audio magnetic ground geophysical survey at its Perentie copper-gold project in north-west Queensland this month.
The work will focus on the Paddy B, Judith and Trackside prospects.
The company said a reverse circulation drilling campaign would follow the survey work.
“Hammer is keen to expedite exploration at Perentie and is planning to have the first pass drilling completed and reported by late November,” executive chairman Russell Davis said.
Perentie is part of the Dronefield joint venture between Hammer Metals (80 per cent stakeholders) and Kabiri.
