Queensland Rail is giving up to 20 new university graduates the chance to fast-track their careers, with the first round of applications now open for its 2020 graduate program.
Chief executive officer Nick Easy said the positions spanned its Network Engineering and Citytrain business areas.
“I’m pleased to announce the launch of Queensland Rail’s recruitment campaign for our 2020 graduate program, which will see successful applicants participate in a dynamic two-year rotational program, starting with engineering graduates in our Network division, which is open for recruitment now,” Mr Easy said.
“Queensland Rail’s Network division is responsible for the maintenance of more than 6600km of track across the state-wide network, spanning an array of environments and conditions with niche challenges to overcome.
“Graduates with civil, electrical and software engineering degrees are encouraged to apply by 27 March 2019, with further opportunities in the Citytrain function to be recruited for in July 2019. ”
