Rheinmetall Defence Australia will host an event in Townsville this month as part of an Industry Engagement Road Show.
Rheinmetall will provide its defence program updates and engage in business-to-business sessions to gain a greater understanding of industry capabilities.
The event will run from 8.30am to 11am on May 23 at Rydges Southbank.
The Federal Government last year announced that Rheinmetall Defence Australia was the successful tenderer for the LAND 400 Phase 2 contract.
The Government will spend $5.2 billion to acquire 211 Boxer CRV vehicles, which will replace the Army’s current ageing Australian Light Armoured Vehicle fleet.
Rheinmetall Defence Australia is establishing its Australia-New Zealand Headquarters and Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE) in south-east Queensland, building and providing support for up to 5000 military vehicles in Australia and the Asia Pacific.
