Ausdrill subsidiary BTP Equipment has won a 24-month extension valued at $70 million to its contract with Peabody Energy Australia.

Under the extension, BTP will continue to rent mining and ancillary equipment to Peabody’s coal mines in the Hunter Valley and Bowen Basin.

BTP initially secured the contract in April 2015.

We are delighted to secure this contract extension and continue with the rental of equipment and related services to Peabody,” executive general  manager – equipment services and supplies Donald James said.
