A Rockhampton plumbing business has made a splash at this year’s state Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards.

Central Queensland Plumbing has claimed the QLeave Commercial and Industrial Technical Award for the second year in a row, as well as the simPRO Service Excellence Award for 2016.

Organisers said the Commercial and Industrial Technical Award stemmed from Central Queensland Plumbing’s impressive approach to sourcing and introducing innovative products and design in  work on the Parkhurst Woolworths and Shopping Mall in Rockhampton.

The judges commended site manager Ben Crew for his forward-thinking approach with product selections, design and interactions with clients, crew and other services.

Master Plumbers’ Association of Queensland (MPAQ) executive director Penny Cornah said the Service Excellence Award celebrated the importance of high-quality service in addition to high-quality workmanship.

Hosted by the Master Plumbers’ Association of Queensland and sponsored by Tradelink, the Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards aim to highlight the hard work and dedication invested into the industry by apprentices, plumbers, gasfitters, hydraulic consultants and other industry individuals.

This year the awards recognised individuals and companies in 17 categories. For the full list of winners click here.
