Ausdrill has won two major contracts in the Bowen Basin, parent company Perenti announced today.
They include a three-year contract, with options to extend, for drill and blast operations at the Yancoal-Peabody Energy Middlemount mine.
Perenti said also Ausdrill had secured a four-year contract for exploration drilling at various Bowen Basin sites for a major coal operator.
“This project builds on Ausdrill’s previous relationship with the client in Western Australia and will feature state-of the-art equipment, including remote rig operations and support,” Perenti said in a statement to the ASX.
These contracts, combined with a six-month contract with Downer in Western Australia, would bring in about $79 million, the company said.
