In accordance with the applicable event provisions under the Planning Act 2016, the Treasurer and Minister for Infrastructure and Planning Cameron Dick MP has extended timeframes for undertaking approved development by six months.
This means development approvals in effect on the date of the extension notice or that come into effect between the date of the extension notice and 31 October 2020, will benefit from an additional six months to undertake approved development.
This notice does not apply to building development approvals for building works to which section 71 of the Building Act 1975 applies.
